After reading a surprising quote from Gwyneth Paltrow which I found quite apt, I decided to find some more, hers was:

Well I do have some insight for you Billy, my trusty red mini Swiss Army Knife purchased in Switzerland will be entering its 8th year of life this September. Granted I'm not cutting ropes, flesh etc. However the scissors have been chopping nails, paper, plastic and more all this time and have never been sharpened. Guess that's why the Swiss are good with money too, they never have to spend it on replacing crappy broken tools.
